Privacy Policy
1. Overview
ParkConnect connects vehicle owners with people who need to reach them — without ever exposing a personal phone number. This policy explains what we collect, why, how it's protected, and the choices you have. It applies to the ParkConnect mobile app and this website.
2. Information We Collect
- Account details — name, email address, and (optionally) phone number, provided at signup.
- Vehicle details — make, model, license plate, and an optional photo, for each vehicle you register.
- Order details — shipping address and payment method, when you order a QR sticker.
- Alert & message content — messages sent to you through a scanned QR code (e.g. "blocked parking").
- Call metadata — that a call happened and its duration; never a recording, never either party's real number.
- Device push token — used only to deliver notifications to your device.
We do not collect location/GPS data, contacts, or browsing history.
3. How Your Number Stays Hidden
By default, when someone scans your vehicle's QR code, calls and messages are routed through our secure relay (via Twilio for voice, and our own servers for messages) — your phone number is never transmitted to or visible to the other party. You can optionally enable "Show Phone Number" in the app's Data Privacy Settings to share your real number directly with scanners instead; this is off by default and only changes if you turn it on yourself.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the service. Each only receives the minimum data needed to perform its function:

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, for any purpose.
5. Data Retention
Account and vehicle data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, it is immediately deactivated and you can no longer log in; order history is retained for our business and legal records. 6. Your Rights & Choices
- Review or update your account and vehicle details any time from the app's Profile tab.
- Control whether scanners can see your vehicle's photo, from Data Privacy Settings.
- Delete your account at any time — see Account & Data Deletion.
- Turn off push notifications from your device or in-app settings.
7. Children's Privacy
ParkConnect is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
